Jeremy PlotnickDr. Jeremy E. Plotnick

I have worked in the areas of communications consulting, public affairs and public relations for 20 years in both the United States and Thailand.  During this time I have provided counsel to clients in the areas of corporate communications, issues management, change management and organizational communications, investor relations, financial communications, marketing and brand development.  In addition to this I’ve also been involved in several crisis communication programs, as well as the development and execution of training programs in media relations and crisis communications.

My work on the agency side of the business has included management positions at Burson-Marsteller, Wilson-McHenry Company and Aziam Burson-Marsteller (B-M’s affiliate in Thailand).  On the client side I held the position of Regional Public Affairs and Communications Manager at Coca-Cola (Thailand) Limited.

In addition to agency work, I have had the opportunity to teach several undergraduate and graduate communications courses at Bangkok University, Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, and the University of Maryland’s University College, where I am currently an adjunct Associate Professor.

Before entering the communications profession I worked as a researcher and analyst at Morningstar Inc., in the US.  This position involved compiling and analyzing financial data on emerging market companies that traded as ADR’s in the US market.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in political science from Rutgers University and a master’s and PhD in international relations from Northern Illinois University.  Additionally, I have an MBA in marketing from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Management.
